Tropical Bedroom — See Yours Transformed
A tropical bedroom is a canopied retreat — a four-poster rattan bed hung with sheer white drapes, the scent of frangipani drifting through an open window, and a green wall of plants outside the door. Every night should feel like the first night of a long-awaited holiday.

What Makes a Tropical Bedroom?
The bed is a rattan or bamboo four-poster with a sheer white canopy draped loosely from the frame. Bedding is white cotton or linen — cool and light — with one or two botanical-print throw pillows. A light palm-leaf-print coverlet adds color at the foot of the bed without adding any heat.
Nightstands are rattan or carved wood, holding ceramic lamps with wide linen shades. A woven bamboo wardrobe or an antique armoire with tropical-carved panels handles clothing storage. Plants crowd the corners and windowsills: large monstera, cascading pothos, and a small palm. Window treatments are sheer panels or woven bamboo blinds that diffuse sunlight gently. The floor is dark teak, terracotta tile, or natural stone with a palm-printed cotton rug under the bed.
