Coastal Bedroom — See Yours Transformed

A coastal bedroom is the room where you sleep with the windows open, hear the waves, and wake up unhurried. A weathered wood bed frame, layers of white and blue linen, and salt-air simplicity make every morning feel like the first day of vacation.

What Makes a Coastal Bedroom?

The bed frame is whitewashed or weathered wood — a plank headboard with visible grain, a four-poster in bleached pine, or a simple rattan frame. Bedding is layered in white cotton, a blue-and-white stripe coverlet, and a lightweight linen duvet. Throw pillows add texture: a knotted macrame cushion, a faded blue linen, a white waffle-weave.

Nightstands are mismatched and casual: a bleached wood crate, a painted wicker side table, or a simple stool with a ceramic lamp and a linen shade. Window treatments are sheer white linen panels that billow with any breeze. A sisal rug under the bed and a weathered wood mirror on the wall complete a room that never tries too hard.

Palette: Soft white, sandy beige, ocean blue, seafoam, and weathered driftwood
