Tropical Bathroom — See Yours Transformed
A tropical bathroom is an open-air shower in spirit if not in literal form: natural stone, bamboo accents, a rain head, and plants that thrive in humidity turn the daily shower into a garden-walk experience. The goal is to feel like you could step out onto a verandah.

What Makes a Tropical Bathroom?
Floors and shower walls are natural stone: green slate, travertine, or basalt laid in large irregular slabs. The vanity is a teak or bamboo slab with a carved stone basin and a bridge faucet in aged brass. A round mirror in a rattan frame hangs above, flanked by wall-mounted candles or simple brass sconces.
The shower has an open-entry design — no door — with a teak slatted floor and a ceiling-mounted rain head. Ferns, orchids, and air plants mounted on driftwood are not decoration but essential elements: they need the humidity and provide the atmosphere. Bamboo towel hooks, a stone soap dish, and linen towels in warm white or sandy beige complete the look. The room should feel like a luxury eco-lodge shower room, not a domestic bathroom.
