Mediterranean Bathroom — See Yours Transformed
A Mediterranean bathroom is a bathing room in the old sense: a space designed around the ritual of water, tiled from floor to ceiling in hand-made clay or stone, with a deep soaking tub and the kind of light that falls golden in the late afternoon.

What Makes a Mediterranean Bathroom?
Walls and floors are hand-made tile: Moroccan zellige in white with blue accents, terracotta hexagonal floor tile, or travertine in warm ivory. The basin is a vessel in hammered copper or hand-thrown ceramic on a simple plaster or stone vanity slab. An arched or scalloped mirror in gilded plaster or iron hangs above it.
The shower is tiled from floor to ceiling in a pattern that wraps the walls — a hand-painted geometric border at eye level, zellige below. A ceiling-mounted brass rain head feeds water from above. A deep soaking tub in white cast iron sits near a shuttered window catching afternoon light. Accessories are simple but warm: a copper tray, oil in amber glass, folded linen towels in undyed cream. An iron lantern provides warm artificial light when the sun goes down.
