What Makes an Industrial Kitchen?
Countertops are poured concrete or stainless steel — materials built for work, not admiration. Cabinets, if present, are flat-front in matte charcoal or black with utilitarian bar pulls in steel. Open shelving on heavy steel brackets holds cast iron pans, vintage crockery, and glass canisters of dry goods. Under-shelf strip lighting illuminates the workspace.
The range is a statement: a commercial-style six-burner in stainless or matte black. The backsplash is pressed metal tile, subway tile with dark grout, or raw brick.
