Coastal Bathroom — See Yours Transformed

A coastal bathroom reinterprets the open-air shower — light, airy, and full of natural material. White and blue tile, a teak shower mat, and weathered-nickel fixtures create a bathroom that rinses away any stress the moment you step inside.

What Makes a Coastal Bathroom?

Walls are white subway tile or a hand-painted cement tile in a blue-and-white nautical pattern on one accent wall. The floor is pebble mosaic, hexagonal white tile, or sand-coloured travertine. A floating vanity in bleached oak with a white undermount basin keeps the floor visible and the room feeling open.

Fixtures are brushed nickel or aged brass — nothing too polished. A large oval mirror in a driftwood frame reflects light. Accessories are simple and natural: a teak soap dish, rolled white towels in a wicker basket, a single orchid or air plant. A glass shower enclosure with a rain head and a teak floor mat inside brings the outdoor-shower feeling indoors.

Palette: Soft white, sandy beige, ocean blue, seafoam, and weathered driftwood
